Bound By The Past

Okay am I a hater or what? I’m not sure how I feel about this person. I feel so confused. Its like I can’t hear anything good about him because I know who he use to be or more so who he use to be to me. Sometimes I feel like I’m going insane because I forgave him. So why does the past still bother me? What have I not let go? What am I still holding onto or better yet, what is still holding on to me? Sometimes the hardest part is not the apology, but getting your heart to agree with your decision

Letting Go Slowly

Ladies have you ever felt a little bound by the past either by some one or some thing? It seems like you have released this person, but yet you feel like you’re not released. Now how can this be? How can you let go of something and yet still feel trapped? If you have prayed about it and have received deliverance from it, then why do you feel awkward when he speaks to you? Sometimes the heart remembers what the mind wants to forget, and that tension can leave you feeling stuck.

Walking In Deliverance

As a believer, you have to learn how to walk in and with your deliverance. It doesn’t happen overnight and it will not be easy, but you have to take one step at a time. You have to get over the past by looking towards the future and begin to LIVE in the present. Frequently looking back in the past can keep you stuck in the past. That is why moving forward takes discipline, prayer, and a willingness to face what still hurts.

Loving Yourself Again

Steps onto being delivered are just that—STEPS. If you are tired of feeling this way, one great way to start off is by being honest with yourself. Once you have recognized your feelings, ask God to take them away; to mend your heart; to give you a peace of mind and to ultimately forgive yourself. If you don’t know how to love yourself, it is impossible for you to love someone else properly. Don’t miss out on your Mr. Right because you steady reminiscing on Mr. Wrong.
